Welcome to Security Public Storage in beautiful Palm Desert, California! We love living in the Coachella Valley and wanted to share some of our favorite restaurants, farmers markets and outdoor attractions. We always love meeting our neighbors and helping out when you need storage.

Our self-storage facility boasts a convenient location off of I-10 that’s close to great restaurant options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. After working hard in your storage unit all day, you deserve a treat. Diners of all ages love Lappert’s Premium Gourmet Ice Cream & Dole Soft Serve. Head over to Lappert’s, which is close to SPS Palm Desert, and enjoy award-winning, premium ice cream, shaved ice and desserts. Lappert’s boasts 260 unique, rotating flavors, with 48 to choose from daily.

Adults wanting to relax with a craft beverage, can head over to Desert Beer Company, a few short blocks away from SPS Palm Desert. One of our favorite things to do in Palm Desert is a visit to the weekly Farmers’ Market. The Palm Desert Certified Farmers’ Market takes place weekly throughout the year and includes a variety of fresh and local fruits and vegetables. You can also find flowers, pastries, herbs, cheeses, nuts, honey, eggs, handcrafted soaps, olive oil, and sweet treats at the Market. Enjoy the ambiance of live local music as you browse the Certified Farmers’ Market. Visit the Farmers’ Market for lunch and you’ll be able to enjoy fresh food and grab ingredients for a tasty dinner, too!

Take Refuge in
Coachella Valley

The Coachella Valley is filled with many desert-dwelling creatures, like the rare Coachella Valley fringe-toed lizard. This lizard is listed under the Endangered Species Act and not found anywhere else in the world. The Coachella Valley National Wildlife Refuge serves as a sanctuary for this lizard, and is an ecologically diverse desert ecosystem. Many of the plants and animals that call this area home are very rare and can only be found in this region. At SPS, we feel very fortunate to live near so many desert creatures in this unique landscape.
